Description:
In the "Options", add "Select Text" and "Select Pattern", the functions to be added:
1. Change the "fill color".
2. Change "transparency".

Note:
◎, "Select text" and "Select pattern" design, do not have "outer frame", "outer frame" is redundant design, it is difficult to see.
1, "Select text", Word design, there is no "outer box".
2, "Select text", the design of the browser, there is no "outer box".
◎, "Select text" and "Select pattern" use the same design, there will be "consistency".

While it might be reasonable to remove the outer frame (and then, without any switches, just make it gone), I disagree with the proposal to change the color of the selection. IIRC, we had changed that somewhere in 4.x to follow system selection color; so don't introduce configurations for what is controlled centrally in the system.

(In reply to Mike Kaganski from comment #6)

I believe that the "most" people will "support" to change the "filled color."
Because you change the "filling color", you can "personalize".
Just like the "grid" can change the color.

If you can change the design, there will be no design problems in the future, and you can solve the design problem forever.

Because of this idea, the chances of implementation are small, so I decided to turn off the article.
