Created attachment 147320 [details] Screenshot A Hi, A) Category order of the dialog: Customization dialog has categories and its order them as alphabetically. (All Commands, Applications, BASIC etc.) But, it changes with language and does not keep "All Command" options on the top / the first. B) Search on Keyboard option is less effective than other tabs. For instance: you can search for "Special Character" keyword on Menus, Toolbars, Context Menu tabs. There are two results for it on the Toolbars tab, but there is no result on the Keyboard tab. IMO, it happens because LO only searches on (oor:name="Label") and ignores (oor:name="ContextLabel") and (oor:name="TooltipLabel"). (Screenshot A) C) Commands don't have icons and Descriptions. For instance. I attended Ctrl+Shift+L shurtcut to the second "Symbol" command and it wont work. Than, I applied the same command to the first "Symbol" command and it worked and Opened the Special Charakter dialog. Actually, there is no way to know which command do what. For example: - Symbol - Opens a drop-down special characters list. - Symbol - Opens the Special Charakters dialog. D) There is no way to search a shortcut on the Keyboard tab. I have typed several shurtcuts and it does not find anyone, even if it attendent to a command. (Screenshot B) /Sorry for long request list.

The keyboard tab definitely need some love. And proper sorting sounds also like a reasonable request. => NEW (one issue per tickets would be better) Muhammet, what do you think? Sabri pushed some changes to Gerrit and might be interested to work with you on these issues.

When you are on tab Keyboard in Customize dialogue, you just should push needed shortcut on keyboard (example, Ctrl+Alt+2) and this shortcut will be selected in list. There is bug/enh about it: just add some tip (as label) direct in dialogue for some user helping

Hi, For item B, there is proposal as in attached screen shot and patch. Please help to review and advise. Thank you and have a great day.

That's a poor man's solution. Text with the caption describing the interaction is always a clear indicator of an usability issue and not the solution. Slightly better when this text goes into the tooltip. What I actually would like is a solution that picks up what we changed on the other tabs. In the original proposal we dropped the tab and let users assign the shortcut at the command itself. https://design.blog.documentfoundation.org/2015/01/22/how-to-make-libreoffice-customization-usable/ But maybe we can iterate on the design.
