Description Pascal Van Puymbroeck 2018-12-27 11:04:24 UTC
Opening two or more .odt or other Libreoffice files goes well. I leave Libreoffice open and put my station asleep. After the station wakes up from sleepmode, CPU usage goes up (fan noise). It turned out to be Libreoffice that is the one that triggers higher cpu usage. Now when I close one of the documents, cpu usage returns to normal.

Thank you for reporting the bug.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

I provided all information there is. If you wanted it to be tested against whatever version, that is entirely up to you guys. I have only reported this problem as a courtsey. If the request was something that could only be done on my machine I would have been happy to help. It's plain and simple, easy to reproduce. However I'm surprised this bug is being flagged SOLVED due to INSUFFICIENT DATA while it should be UNREPRODUCEABLE or UNCONFIRMED.

What is this station that goes asleep? A laptop? A desktop computer? Which model?

Does this still occur with LibreOffice 6.4.x?

From LibreOffice, please copy and paste here the contents of your Help - About. This allows us to know more about your system.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change back to UNCONFIRMED after you have provided the information.
