I removed libreoffice user folder from $HOME/.config, and restarted Writer again, but the problem is still persistent.

I don't get any 6.2 updates on my ubuntu 18.04.2, I updated today to 6.1.5.2 and the same problem is persistent.
I use ppa:libreoffice/ppa to get latest updates but 6.2 is not there.

I tested today with LibreOffice Dev 6.3 and the same problem is still persistent, see my attached video for more informations.

Moving to NEW.
@Raal, could you please provide a backtrace as described here https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#GNU.2FLinux ?
Comment 14 Caolán McNamara 2019-10-10 14:36:35 UTC
This crash was only reported under gtk[3]. Because this dialog is now a native gtk3 dialog (master towards 6.4) instead of an emulated one the conditions that triggered the crash can't be in play anymore so this crash surely can't happen in master now.

The problem is still persistent with Libre Office 6.3.2.2 on Ubuntu 19.10, see my new attached video for more information, the trick is to increase the size of the options window till the horizontal scroll disappear, then you increase the columns width, then you decrease the size of the window and now a new horizontal scrollbar is displayed, then if you tried to grab and move it to right side the whole writer crashes.

medmedin2014: you did not notice that the version mentioned was 6.4, not 6.3.

Could you please try to verify it with a master build from http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/ ?

I installed LODev6.4.0.0.alpha1+ and it seems the problem is no longer happening.

Thank you really for this great piece of word processing which sometimes exceeds even paid and expensive other office suites.
