I confirm it with

Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: f42554a1886ebe49170c25096dc3281b2c7bb1f4
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default; VCL: win;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2019-02-08_22:37:30
Locale: en-US (de_DE); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

Less terrible in:

Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: 4c20bb789c7536f63a6844a4cb4489a18cee53c7
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3 Build 9600; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: en-US (hu_HU); UI: en-US
Calc: CL

But still:
- shapes in the left side corners move upwards
- text in the top and bottom changes color unexpectedly
- yellow and green arrows move downwards and change lenght

These are on top of the import problems such as the disappearing -> arrows and the background image effect being lost.

The original document and its LO-saved version in Word

Looks much better when saved with recent master since:

tdf#141786 correct position of child elements in group

Answering my complaints in above comment:

- shapes in the left side corners move upwards

Fixed!

- text in the top and bottom changes color unexpectedly

That's fileopen bug 123110

- yellow and green arrows move downwards and change lenght

Their position is fixed now, but the zig-zag shape is still exported incorrectly. Looks like a separate issue, I'll see if it's specific to canvas or not.

These are on top of the import problems such as the disappearing -> arrows and the background image effect being lost.

The disappearing arrows is bug 122956, the background images effect is (likely) bug 85757

Connectors in a canvas are a special kind of object. Opening is bad, saving is terrible. I'll open new bugs about that.
But the positioning of shapes in this one is fixed, other problems are already tracked separately.
