Description:
After trying to insert a new Mendeley Citation, I have lost a whole paragraph of work which I had previously saved.  I tried to click "undo" but this does not bring anything back and comes up with error message along the lines of "citation formatting"

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on insert citation in text
2. After selecting Citation, a paragraph is deleted
3.

Actual Results:
loss of text

Expected Results:
should be able to continue to type up text with citation added


Reproducible: Sometimes

A more detailed of how you are inserting the reference into the Writer document would be useful in order to try and reproduce.

Mendeley is an external bibliography provider which can be used with LO via a plugin (I'm assuming that this is some kind of Java extension as I don't have it).

As you don't mention precisely how you proceed, it is a bit difficult to know whether you have encountered an already known bug, e.g. bug 123224, or any of the other already referenced bugs that are known to occur with Mendeley usage in LibreOffice.
