Description: (Please forgive my poor English) Microsoft Office now uses UnicodeMath instead of MathType. Writer works well. But when it comes to Impress,it don't show the math and all animation points to the picture compatiable with Microsoft Office 2007. The reason might be that UnicodeMath is not an object. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Use Microsoft Office to produce a *.pptx file 2.Open it using Libreoffice 3. Actual Results: It don't show the math and all animation points to the picture compatiable with Microsoft Office 2007. Expected Results: It should work as what Microsoft Office as. Sorry for bad descriptions and not replying in time. Here are two problems in total. First, while Writer treats Math more like texts,Impress treats it more like graphs. It can be quite inconvenient. Next,Impress is not compatible with Office Math.Interestingly,Writer seems to work well with Office Math. |::|::| |Application|Performance| |PowerPoint 2019|Well done.| |PowerPoint 2007|All Content is shown in a graph and animations are in disorder.| |Impress|A graph is shown while other things except Math are shown as well.Animations are in disorder.|
Thanks for reporting this issue. it seems like a duplicate of bug 125668 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 125668 ***
I wish this bug was for "inline math" but now that it's closed, I'd rather marked it as a duplicate of bug 129061 that has an explanation for inline math instead if bug 125668 which has multiple issues and should be else. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 129061 ***
