Created attachment 151320 [details] Image for compare 1. Open PDF document have problem with display text with font which i check in inkscape
LibreOffice is not a PDF editor! When you "open" a PDF it is imported by filters. And, Fonts with names that are poorly structured in the PDF may not be detected/selected as present for rendering to Draw document canvas. And a fallback font assignment occurs. If the font *is* present on the system, select the text and assign it the correctly named font. You may also be able to use the Tools -> Options -> Fonts dialog to set the replacement font name(s). If you are looking for fidelity to the PDF document--split it to single pages, and use the Insert -> Image
Why you say libreoffice not pdf editor? You owner this product or god? It is open with filter or without and i can edit, and other people what to edit. Check market not too much free product which can do same like libreoffice. I need and other people to see correct font when open pdf document. If the font is embedded in pdf document it must be use. Need to improve open document. Any one who have this font please help do sample.
(In reply to seven from comment #2) > > I need and other people to see correct font when open pdf document. > Then replace the font! Regenerate as PDF (again problems) or exchange ODF or OOXML document. Don't abuse PDF. > If the font is embedded in pdf document it must be use. Need to improve open > document. No, not the case. And LibreOffice will use exactly the glyphs embedded in the PDF document to render the PDF page by page--that is the Insert filter. Opening of a PDF into Draw (or any other LO module) can not and should not use the embedded glyphs--import opening is expected to be editable, how can one edit when most of the font is not included with glyphs that are present in the PDF? When (and if) a font is embedded in PDF it will *never* be the full font! Meaning, when a PDF is opened to view (and please be aware that PDF is not intended to be edited--it is a *final* published format) an installed on system font must be used. LibreOffice's filter import opening of PDF into the Draw module does the correct action acknowledging this fact--and performs font fall back replacement for fonts that are listed as used in the PDF but are not present on the system (in a recognizable form). Another facet is that PDF generators are exceptionally bad at describing fonts with "meaningful" names--and there is no requirement to match the system font name, PDF are self contained. If the LibreOffice filter import can not match the name--it performs font fall back replacement! Again the correct and only possible option. > > Any one who have this font please help do sample.
Up to you. Sometime after 1000 years somebody come here and reopen this bug report. Inkscape know old font and show to client which not exists. Here hub bug report about it, because client must know about problem with document. Client can choose to find font to install, stop working with document or continue as is. My bug report about to choose more compatible font for this issue and/or try to get more attention to make report to client for problem with opened document. Anyway thank for your help
