Here you can see an screenshot.

In the Italian version, Menu voice Inserisci and Stile have the same shortcut ALT+I. So you can have quick access only to Inserisci.
Could ALT+L be an alternative for Stile?

Potentially and handled with the localization process, but there is no restriction on these mnemonic accelerators repeating in a menu--unless they functionally trap focus on use. Is that the case here?
Comment 2 V Stuart Foote 2019-07-05 17:13:40 UTC
It is annoying to reuse the main menu bar accelerator mappings more than one mnemonic. Shortcut assignment is handled in the localization/translation process.

Access to Stile with shortcuts

It's not possible to access to Stile with keyboard shortcuts because with ALT+I is catched from other voices in the menu Inserisci.

I gave a try on pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today + gtk3 rendering, I could reproduce this.
Workaround:
- alt+i
-> it opens "Inserisci" menu as expected
- Esc
-> it closes the menu "Inserisci"
- alt+i
-> it opens "Stili" menu

if we continue:
- Esc
-> it closes the menu "Stili"
- alt+i
-> it opens "Inserisci" menu again
etc.

Valter: are you ok about "L" shortcut for "Stili" menu?
Indeed, today alt+l doesn't do anything with Italian locale (except if I missed something).

If yes, I can change it here:

Hi,

I absolutely agree but... AFAIK, and if I understand correctly, I can see in 6.4.5.2 version: (Writer) Alt+I for 'Inserisci' menu, and Alt+S for 'Stili' menu.

In any case, the change is safe.

Alt+s should be even better than Alt+l if it was used in 6.4.5!
Massimo: ok for you too?

I did the change here:
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_ui-master/officecfgregistrydataorgopenofficeofficeui/it/?checksum=a5c3955d0b3d2d6c&q=+note%3AKYuQP+&sort_by=-priority%2Cposition

(there was a suggestion which suggested the same, just approved it).

Let's put this one to FIXED then.
