Description: If using a release candidate Libreoffice, it doesn't update. I currently have 6.2.4.2 installed, and using 'Check for updates' it comes up that 6.2 is up to date. Obviously there is 6.2.5 release version out now, as well as 6.3.0.1 release candidate. When using a release candidate version, the update system should update to the latest release version, or the latest release candidate if available. A simple registry setting could enable release versions be updated to release candidate versions. This should apply to anything that is in the 'final configuration state'. Local language (such as English (UK) should also automatically update. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just simply won't update! I've experienced it previously as well, not sure when it started. 2. 3. Actual Results: Says it is up to date when it isn't. Expected Results: It should update to the latest RC if available, when updating from a RC, or a final release. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info:
By local language, I meant the help packs.
Updates are posted as "infrastructure" against build signatures, checked via simple cURL posted PHP here: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/website/tree/check.php?h=update But, it looks like the 6.3.0.1, 6.3.0.2 rc's have not been added yet, nothing out of the ordinary... Otherwise, this remains just an information service--it performs no package management/downloads. @Cloph? *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 90456 ***
