Sample slide

Viewing the attached slide in Office 365 the text in the circular
element to the left is fully centered within the circle.

In LibreOffice 6.3 the lines of text are centered in that they look

       ***
    *********
      *****

and the alignment elements in the toolbar indicate "centered", alas
the text overall is not in the centered of the circular element.

Only when, despite being selected already, I again select "centered"
in the toolbar does LibreOffice render similarly to Office 365.

I see the problem too. I think, it is a problem with initial rendering. If you enter the group, click on the ellipse and then open the Position&Size dialog, the position of the text is corrected on opening the dialog, without any further action needed.

Regression introduced by https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=5694b4970e3af096130e172ac6968b10ed587a6f, which is the same as in bug 113198
Closing as RESOLVED DUPLICATED
