Description mirko.pieropan 2019-10-10 07:42:44 UTC
I'd like to suggest the following enhancement: since the off-slide edit area is usually not used, I think it would be way much handy not to allow scrolling the slide area outside of the current user area. The screen scroll bars should work only when the slide area is magnified so that the zoom is larger than 100%, in order to allow the user to navigate the slide.

Hello,
thanks for reporting this enhancement.
Could you please attach a screenshot?

The view should stay like this (unless you zoom in, see LO impress screenshot 2)

Here it's ok to be able to navigate the slide with sidebars.

But this doesn't really make sense to me (and is in general not allowed in other presentation software)

Hello, yes, it actually is. Thanks for pointing that out. Hope developers do something about this soon, as, in my opinion, this "issue" limits significantly the quality of the user experience.
