Description WNIVA 2019-11-22 09:55:55 UTC
Description:
If open a document with 6.3.3, which was created with 6.2.7, then missing the bibliography entries when inserting.
New entries can be created with 6.3.3 and these appear in the directory also next to the old entries. The directory is damaged, old and new entries are multiple.
When downgrading to 6.2.7, all entries (including those created with 6.3.3) are available.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create document with Writer v6.2.7
2. Insert bibliography entries
3. Save
4. Update to LibreOffice v6.3.3
5. Open the document
6. Insert bibliography entry -> select from document -> ERROR: the list is empty
7. Save document
8. Downgrade to LibreOffice v6.2.7
9. Open the document
10. Insert bibliography entry -> select from document -> the list is available, including entry from v6.3.3

Actual Results:
The insert list of bibliography entry (from document) is empty when using v6.3.3

Expected Results:
It is expected that the list of the bibliographic entries will be filled with the entries from the document (from v6.2.7 and v6.3.3).

Reproducible: Always

Sample ODT

Repro LO 6.3 and 6.5+.
Regression but probably the same as See Also bug 128845 so I don't put bibisectRequest.
Here is a sample ODT from LO 6.2.

The issue was fixed this morning. Are you sure your build has the fixing commit ?
Could you please paste the info from Help - about LibreOffice ?

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/plugins/gitiles/core/+log/60e8941fd581bb06cbf6be62edb8c387e7c07812
It's latest is 16 hours ago but it doesn't have the commit that fixes, seen in other bug.

Niva, if that's the name, thank you for reporting and following your bug.
I don't know the level of your tech interest, but you can use git to pull fresh master source and verify yourself. Or even join QA team with bibisects, that are very useful, as you saw. They are available for both Win and Lin platforms. Or you may just wait another day for daily Win build. Whatever, it's a good idea to double verify.

Xisco, please leave open until this is verify by reporter or someone else.
