Top left: 3x4 matrix of cells to copy. Right next to it the result of pasting them twice.

When I copy a range of cells, lines or columns and paste them onto other cells/lines/columns the width and height of the source cells is not copied and applied to the target cells. They just keep their previous size.
So you cannot multiply the layout from a part of your table.

This is also the case when working with tables in Writer.
