Information for charts can be provided by the dialogue “Data table”. https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-GB/text/schart/01/03010000.html I suggest to store rows from such a data table into a choosable target by pressing an action button or context menu entry. Selection: * All * Marked entries * Filter criterium Output: * External file * Copy entries into a table of the same document
While I don't get the point of "store rows" (likely also columns) "into a choosable target" (unclear), I agree with more interactions here. Copy/past from/to other programs via clipboard would enhance the usability greatly.

Will it be safer to track software development progress for such functionality by other issues? https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129683
I propose that Bug 129643 be marked as a duplicate of this bug, and that this bug is used to track the enhancement "Allow import/export and copy/paste of data from and into chart data table".
