Description Will Sciaroni 2020-01-12 19:09:26 UTC
Description:
[EDITING] I am unable to insert an image into a writer .odt document by clicking "Insert->Image..."
When I click into that dialog, it launches my file viewer. From there I select the image (I have tried multiple images of different types including .jpg .png). When I click Open the file is not inserted into the document. A dialog appears and states "Image filter not found"

Appears to be the same behavior seen in Bug 113145.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Writer
2.Click Insert->Image...
3.Select and click open for an image.

Actual Results:
The image is not inserted into the document.
A dialog appears with the message "Image filter not found"

Expected Results:
The image should be inserted into the documents

Reproducible: Always

-Running in SafeMode
-Tried with and without Tools->Options->LibreOffice->View->Use Hardwar Acceleration (with a full reboot in between tests)
-Tried with and without OpenGL Enabled (with a full reboot in between tests)

Will, thank you for reporting the bug. It seems you're using an old version of LibreOffice. Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.
