Description: LibreOffice crashes when I try to change the alignment of text in a text box or other drawing object that can have text attached to it. I can change other attributes of the text like font/bold/color. It seems specific to Writer as there is no crash with Impress, Draw, or Calc modules. It is further specific on the changing of the alignment attribute. I can create a text box (or other draw object) with center aligned text in Impress, successfully change the alignment, and copy/paste it into Writer. I can change other properties but if I try to set it back to the default 'Left Align' it crashes. I also noticed that applying sub- or super-script crashes Writer (and not the others). As does the 'Increase/Decrees Font Size' buttons. However, I can change the font with the drop down selector and 'Set Character Spacing' works. Changing line spacing also causes a crash. It crashes with or without text in the box selected vs. having the type bar at the end of the word or without having typed in anything at all (just the box being open for editing). Also, the other alignment option are deactivated in the 'Format->Align' menu and selecting even the checked one, default left for something created in Writer or one of the other options for an object create in another module triggers a crash. Steps to Reproduce: 1. New Writer file 2. Add a text box (or other draw object) to the page 3. Type/select some text in the object (optional) 4. Click the toolbar or side bar button to 'Align Left', 'Center', Align Right', or 'Justify' Also crashes with 'Increase/Decrees Font Size' and "Superscript/Subscript' Actual Results: Instant crash on the click of the toolbar/sidebar button. Document recovery is successful. Expected Results: Correctly applying the text attribute. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 6.4.0.3 Build ID: libreoffice-6.4.0.3-snap1 CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded

Thanks for reporting this issue. This is a duplicate of bug 130286. Please update to LibreOffice 6.4.1.2 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 130286 ***
Confirmed fix in LibreOffice_6.4.2.1_Linux_x86-64_deb from the per-release branch. All the toolbar buttons work, although the Format->Align->[Left, Center, Right, Justified] menu options are still disabled. Clicking on them has no effect. (The currently applied alignment setting is selected). As a precaution I reopened the bug since I'm not sure if it's related and I wasn't sure if this additional comment would be surfaced to those who would know since it was closed.

Hi Brian, Yes I can reproduce that. Let me investigate it. I'll create a follow-up bug instead, since this one is about the crash. Let's keep it duplicate of bug 130286 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 130286 ***
