Description libreoffice 2020-03-14 21:49:58 UTC
This bug was filed from the crash reporting server and is br-53cfe3b0-29ef-4303-ab7e-d1230462b25f.
=========================================
All I did was open Libreoffice 6.4 and click on New. The crash is immediate and repeatable.

On which Linux distrib are you and which version is it?

You indicated Base but it's not specific to Base, isn't it?

Could you give a try to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps ?

Ubuntu 16.04.7 LTS. Still present in LibreOffice 6.4.6.2. I removed the user profile and the problem still occurs. I also verified I'm not using openGL.

I must recognize I'm stuck but perhaps it may help to upgrade to last LTS 20.04

Hello,
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Appears fixed in version 7.1.4.2, or possibly by upgrading to Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS.
