Only the colored text (red, green, blue) and not black text which is ok. Actual Results: Calc -> Diagram -> Insert -> "Legend" -> Text inside (colored in red, green, or blue) Expected Results: Text stored inside legends. And after recording the file, and exit Calc, saved. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Text lost when opening the file.

Did you search existing bugs? Can you attach file (if not personal) - cannot test without it? Did you change/upgrade LO in the meantime?
Hi, it's difficult for me to attach this file. It contains 'sensitive' personal information (legal file). Since yesterday, I've been doing a lot of testing. I have a "backup" Laptop - necessarily less 'up to date', so I got an October 2019 version of the file - in which the texts are Ok in the legends of the diagram - they appear correctly at the opening with LO 6.4.4.2... The only modification I made in this file since October 2019 is dated 30/03/2020 : a change of year in the diagram titles (2019 -> 2020) ... I have uninstalled version 6.4.4.2 and installed the stable version 6.3.6 of LO... It looks the same... Without making any changes to the file, the simple fact of saving - close - reopen -> The text in the captions has disappeared. The text "disappears" therefore certainly during an update of LO, between 'October 2019' and 30/03/2020 ? Another observation, the forms of legends that I had originally used for my file, do not appear any more in the insertion menu ??????? There is only one type of legend form left? After testing, the text in this only remaining type remains saved. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)

Insertion-Forme-Legenedes in French is Insert-Form-Callouts in English. So don't translate as translater. This bug report is wrong, because you focus on your subjective problem and we cannot help on that, just on objective bug. Not clear if: 1. you used only LO 6.4 and data is missing when reopened now, which would indicate bug or change in 6.4; or 2. you created with LO 6.3 and bug appeared with 6.4, if you upgraded. You need to explain exactly how you create text inside, do you just type, do you change color. We need reproducible steps and objective clear problem. You had better try to reproduce on sample document what happens.

(In reply to Timur from comment #6) > (In reply to Timur from comment #5) > > Insertion-Forme-Legenedes in French is Insert-Shape-Callouts in English. Ok...Callouts... I've been working on this file for over three years for a legal case. The last and only change I made in March 2020 was a simple change of year in the title of the chart. I saved the file. I did not reopen it until June 8th. The texts in most of the Callouts have disappeared. I have a backup of the October 2019 file. On an identical copy of this file, when I open it, the texts appear correctly. I save the file - without making any changes - when I reopen it, the text has disappeared! I have extracted the diagram part that I (now) have a problem with as an attachment.
You need to write reproducible steps like this: 1. start LO 6.4.4 ? 2. open attached correct minimal sample from old ODS - attachment 161870 [details]? 3. see "text 123" in some callout ? 4. do ..? 5. save and close 6. reopen and no "text 123"

(In reply to Timur from comment #18) > I set New. Please explain how you put them in chart. Insert -> Form -> Callouts -> Drag & Drop -> (double)click inside -> Write -> Save -> Export (the diagram) as picture. I used the same way, from the outset with my file(s)
No, blue callouts (with text like "Text 11-06-20", which you described how to insert and that's clear) can be edited and saved and no bug there. But green callouts are somehow created and attached to chart (how?) and their text can be edited and saved in LO 6.2 but not in 6.3 and 7.1+ so bug is there - if we agree that's a bug.
Bug appears with callouts inside chart. And it's not easy to put them there. I'm asking reporter for steps to reproduce from scratch. I assume cut/paste is used. In chart editing mode, insert shape is not available in standard toolbar and is disabled in tabbed UI. But bug is there on sample ODS: 1. start LO 6.3.4 up to 7.1+, Win or Lin 2. Open attachment 161870 [details] "Bug sauvegarde texte dans légendes" 3. Double click to edit chart and write "Légende d'origine" in callouts like in attachment 161877 [details] 4. Save and close 5. Reopen and no "Légende d'origine" like in "Text desappear after save attachment 161878 [details] commit e20b51e889375eb4200356efed0102ce730a4ba8 Date: Fri Nov 29 11:21:17 2019 +0100 source 5d20213462ca346ba942ce5e03a5771d499d3518 Previous source a12038fd8f6c7f276b616093c613c4fc19f75a59 tdf#128985: ODP: Style text directions revert to RTL on save and re-open CC: Tamás Zolnai

Regis, this bug is about text in callouts. "Export as image" is another bug (I'll report), do not comment on that here.

bug is still there in version 7.0.1.2

Bug still alive with LO 7.0.5...
Resolved, so I mark as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 138307 ***
Hi, Effectively... It works correctly, now, with LO (Win & Linux) 7.1.5.2.. Thanks !!!
