Description michael.maurer 2020-09-27 12:39:37 UTC
Description:
The user interface does not display fonts uniformly in tabbed mode, all fields with drop-down function use the system-set font not only for the list but also for the user interface itself.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Tabbed User Interface
2. Go to the tab <file>

Actual Results:
The buttons <recent documents>, <file> and <help> use a different font

Expected Results:
Consistent fonts used across all components and menus

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Already seen in oldest of Linux 6.3 bibisect repo
Comment 4 Buovjaga 2022-12-12 14:10:33 UTC
I'm not seeing this anymore, I double-checked by taking a screenshot and comparing in GIMP by cutting and pasting text, so I could view it side by side.

Set to NEEDINFO.
Change to UNCONFIRMED, if the problem persists. Change to RESOLVED WORKSFORME, if the problem went away.

As we have multiple reproductions, I'll set to NEW for now.

repro 24.2 with Ubuntu 20.04/gtk3.
The "Recent Documents is a "svtlo-ManagedMenuButton" without any GTK class, while "Open" and "Open Remote" are GtkToolButtons.

I assume that the odd-ball ones are VCL-only items which can't be welded.

Duplicate bug 153276 used the same example - Recent Documents. It is the only example I have seen as I browse through Writer/Calc/Draw/Impress.

Yeah, the odd-ball ones are VCL-only items which aren't welded. They appeared after I began to do that. It's possible that they could be replaced and I had made some progress at one point before I got lost in the overall Notebook complexity.

f.e. extras/source/glade/libreoffice-catalog.xml.in lists the custom widgets so glade can manipulate them, those are all notebook-only things. The Notebook remains a hold-out :-(
