Description Vincent Boudry 2020-09-28 10:22:52 UTC
Description:
In impress, since LO7.0 the behaviour of the escape has changed:
it used to select the form of the text, allowing for it modification.
now it drops completely the selection.
The form is now only reachable by clicking on it frame, which is barely visible.
The old (and correct in my opinion) ways is still working in Draw.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open an impress
2.Create a text zone
3.Type in a few caracters
4.Press escape

Actual Results:
No more selection

Expected Results:
The text zone (as a form) stay selected, allowing for any operation (resizing, grouping, contextual menus).

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
Keep the form selected, as in Draw.

Sorry for the bad reporting: the bug seems to happen only after a while.
So the procedure below (creating a new doc) doesn't seem to work

Reloading the presentation also resets the normal behaviour.

I will continue to evaluate what could trigger this.

Best regards,
Vincent.
