Description: After updating to version 7.0.3.1 through Arch's package repository, entries added to the bibliography database were overwritten by the default database. The files in ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/database show mtime is of the moment of the update. It doesn't seem to be done by the package manager itself. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install older version 2. Add entries to bibliography database (Tools->Bibliography Database) 3. Update to version 7.0.3.1 Actual Results: Entries are gone Expected Results: Entries should still be there Reproducible: Didn't try User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.0.3.1 Build ID: 00(Build:1) CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 5.9; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US 7.0.3-1 Calc: threaded
I upgraded from 7.4.6.2 to 7.4.7.2 with deb packages on Ubuntu, and the entry I had added to the Bibliography database was still there. Do you happen to know which version you upgraded from? Can you test again with another upgrade from Arch's repos? (Backing up your profile beforehand.) I assume such an upgrade would never touch config files, but maybe the first launch of the new LO version replaced (parts of) your profile. However I couldn't find anything new related to bibliography in 7.0. Maybe Buovjaga can help with the Arch side of things.
Sorry, I can't help. Better would be to ask in Arch forums or bug tracker.
