Description: When `Contour of each individual object` is checked (in menu Tools - Options… - LibreOffice Draw - View), you will not see anything different if the object/s have line. I think Help¹ should say something about it. ¹ All three help versions say the same: · https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/optionen/01070100.html?&DbPAR=DRAW&#hd_id3149418 · https://help.libreoffice.org/7.0/en-US/text/shared/optionen/01070100.html?&DbPAR=DRAW&#hd_id3149418 · https://help.libreoffice.org/6.4/en-US/text/shared/optionen/01070100.html?&DbPAR=DRAW&#hd_id3149418 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Check `Contour of each individual object` 2. Select and move objects 3. Uncheck `Contour of each individual object` 4. Select and move objects Actual Results: Said in Description. Expected Results: In step 2, contour of each individual object must be shown. In step 4, only fill and line of each individual object must be shown. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 7.1.0.3 (x86) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: f6099ecf3d29644b5008cc8f48f42f4a40986e4c CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: es-MX (es_MX); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Can you please attach an example file where you observed the issue? Thanks
Created attachment 170217 [details] Two objects with line and two without, to test.
It seems to me that here is a bug: because (checked or not) `Contour of each individual object` makes no difference.
[Automated Action] NeedInfo-To-Unconfirmed
In summary if the object has a line, the contour line is not shown. If the object has no outline, the contour is shown.
Reproducible with: Version: 7.2.3.2 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 20(Build:2) CPU threads: 1; OS: Linux 5.3; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-MX (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded
Help says: "If you do not mark the Contour of each individual object option, LibreOffice only displays a square contour that includes all selected objects". But there is no square at all.

Dear LeroyG, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
