Comment 1 Ming Hua 2021-05-08 13:06:42 UTC
Can not reproduce with either 7.1.3 RC1:
Version: 7.1.3.1 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: fa76d07d7006a0e2866c3247cef2d5eb55ae8369
CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: zh-CN (zh_CN); UI: zh-CN
Calc: threaded

...or 7.2.0/master daily build:
Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 18e5e948dd66e41f17b0a63bf631d98aee84a03b
CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: zh-CN (zh_CN); UI: zh-CN
Calc: threaded

I can type "fuu";"bar" in Category box just fine, but after that the whole box has red background to indicate there is an error, and I can't proceed with either "Next" or "Finish" button.

Is the steps to produce correct? Have you tried resetting your user profile (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile page for information)?
Comment 2 vladankudlac 2021-05-08 19:20:54 UTC
Hi,
I just followed my steps to reproduce.
You probably made something wrong during steps to reproduce as "fuu";"bar" is valid (no red color) and when I paste it from clipboard, I can click next or finish button.

I tried to restart in failsafe mode (without my settings).
It allowed me to type "fuu";"bar" and hit Finish button, but just after clicking Finish button, the app crashed.

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.

IMHO, after step 5, when emptying data range, "Next" should be disabled.

Hi, the empty dataset is here only for minimal reproducible case.
I am using charts in Calc with real data and it is still crashing.

Just tried and yep, here is another crash dump:

I can't reproduce it in

Version: 7.2.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: d4f116d9576453f5974eb63db37a33c59ac53bc9

To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Comment 7 vladankudlac 2021-05-10 10:33:20 UTC
As I stated in Comment 2, I've already followed procedure of running in failsafe mode (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and it didn't help.

vladankudlac please retest it in latest 7.3.6 or 7.4.2 LibreOffice version
Comment 11 Julien Nabet 2022-10-25 18:44:36 UTC
On pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian package 7.4.1.2, I don't reproduce this anymore.

Let's put this one to WFM then.

vladankudlac: don't hesitate to reopen this tracker if you can reproduce this with LO 7.3.6 and brand new LO 7.4.2.
Comment 12 vladankudlac 2022-10-30 20:00:43 UTC
I can confirm it's fixed in 7.4.2.3.

Comment 13 Julien Nabet 2022-10-30 20:11:41 UTC
Let’s rather put WFM since there’s no specific fix here.
