Description chrisdecorte 2021-07-22 02:11:56 UTC
I have no problem with the creation of comments for a cell but I have following remarks:

1. having a comment in a cell leaves a small red square in the top right corner of the cell. I would recommend putting it in the left top corner. The reason is that when it is in the top right corner it's sometimes very difficult to read the last digit of the number in the cell.

2. resizing the comment is not possible but ths might be a problem already reported.

It is possible to resize the comment (and hence not reported).

- Right click the cell having a comment
- Select "Show Comment"
- Click the comment and watch out for the green handles

1st NotABug as bug 143425.
2st different and likely bug 68695 - just search before reporting.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 68695 ***

The proposal here is different. Reporter suggests to put the red indicator to the left side of the cell, while bug 143425 is about moving the red dot farther to the right.

Regardless, it's not acceptable.
