Same tip every day is handled in bug 144693 (patch submitted). But you shouldn't get multiple TotD once you close one. Actually after one tip is shown. If you start multiple modules very quickly this function might not have been called. Please reopen if I miss the point. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 144693 ***
I mean if you open three files via Windows Explorer, you get three Totd. If you open 15 files, you get 15 Totd. So you have to close 15 Totd. Displaying one Todt should be enough.
The issue was solved with https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/c/core/+/120674 and should be in 7.2.
