The help for "Showing a Slide Show, https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/lo/text/simpress/guide/show.html?&DbPAR=IMPRESS&System=UNIX doesn't match the latest Impress UI. 1. Under "Open the Slide Transition sidebar deck" the help says > In the Advance slide area, click Automatically after, and select a time duration In 7.2.0.4 the area is simply labeled "After", not "Automatically after" 2. Under "To advance to the first slide" the help says > 1. Choose Slide Show - Slide Show Settings. > In the Type area, click Auto and select a pause time between shows." There's no Type area any more. Based on the dialog and tooltips I think this text should be something like: "In the Presentation Mode area, click Loop and repeat after, and set the duration of the pause between shows."
I confirm. And there should be a dialog image. There were also changes in Custom slide show, no more "Use custom slide show" checkbox. Bug 142589. https://help.libreoffice.org/7.3/en-US/text/simpress/01/06100000.html
This could all be a single bug, no need to split.
FTR there are many inconsistencies in these pages. For instance, the "Always with current page" option no longer exists in Tools - Options - LibreOffice Impress - General. It is mentioned in [1]. [1] https://help.libreoffice.org/7.3/en-US/text/simpress/guide/show.html?DbPAR=IMPRESS
