In Writer, if you go to Tools - AutoCorrect - AutoCorrect Options and choose the "Options" tab, you'll notice that the "M" column is cropped (see the attached file).

It is possible to manually resize it, however the new width is not persistent and when Writer is restarted, the width goes back to the original width.

I guess the default size of this column needs to be redefined in the .ui file.

doesn't happen on Windows builds. LO 7.2.1.2 or current master...

Maybe it is a Kf5-only issue. I tested on other machines running KDE and the problem persisted.

Indeed. On my Windows machine this problem does not happen.

Bibisected with linux-64-7.1 to https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/714b2b617e9baef02510c482c6fd028e6e72acd8
tdf#134270 rearrange so we know the final treeview width

Maybe I'll skip adding Caolán to Cc as it seems excessive to think he has to be the expert of all known UI toolkits.
