Description BarryHavenga 2021-09-21 08:41:11 UTC
Description:
If a range of cells is selected and then a specific border type is selected using the Border Button, the borders around the cells do not change. In other words the border button appears to be disfunctional.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Calc
2.Select a range of cells and select a border type using the border button.
3.Click on the border type: Nothing happens in the sheet

Actual Results:
The cells in the sheet remain without a border.

Expected Results:
The border selected should be applied to the selected cells

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

No repro on (borders work):

CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: kf5
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Repro on (borders do not work):
Version: 7.2.1.1 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 3cfc32d9754d2d239bd8ce2941029c12873010c1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)

and repro on (from the official download page):
Version: 7.2.1.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 87b77fad49947c1441b67c559c339af8f3517e22
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.10; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

But again, borders work on the master build, so this is not a regression:
No repro on:

If Barry was using kf5, I wonder if it was bug 144037?
