Created attachment 176769 [details] Sample PPTX file In MS Powerpoint it is common for users to write text with equations, specially in universities. However, when such PPTX files are opened in LO Impress, these equations are ignored, as though they did not exist. The only equations that are imported are those that are created as standalone equations (see the sample files for more information). This causes a serious PPTX import that makes it really hard to have interoperability in academic institutions. The following files are attached to this bug report: 1) A sample PPTX file with equations in text and with a standalone equation. 2) The PDF generated from the PPTX file using MS PowerPoint 3) The ODP file showing how the PPTX is imported into LO Impress. To create the ODP, I opened the PPTX file in LO and saved as ODP.
