Description: On Windows 10, when a CSV file is opened from Calc, the 'Text Import' window is drawn on top of the running Calc program. So you can bring the 'Text Import' to the front, and minimise and restore it by interacting with the running Calc program and its taskbar icon. However, when you open a CSV file from using windows File Explorer, the 'Text Import' window appears without being linked to a Calc window. The 'Text Import' window does not have an icon on the taskbar. So if other applications are moved in front of it, or it becomes minimised, it is apparently hidden. The method of bringing something to the front by clicking its taskbar icon is unavailable because it has no taskbar icon. Workarounds to restore the 'Text Import' window include: - An unreliable workaround is this- however, it doesn't always work if you open multiple different CSV files: Attempt to open the CSV file from File Explorer again. The 'Text Import' window is then brought to the front and an empty Libre Office window is shown behind it. That Libre Office window has the main grey Libre Office logo, no title, and nothing but solid grey in its window. That Libre Office window provides a taskbar icon and can be used to bring the 'Text Import' window to the front. - Use Windows 10 'Task View'. The 'Text Import' window shows there, so it can be selected to bring to the front. - Use alt+tab. The 'Text Import' window shows there, so it can be selected to bring to the front. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Windows 10 version 21H2. Libre Office 7.1.8.1 (x64) 2. Close all LibreOffice Calc windows. 3. Open 'File Explorer' 4. From File Explorer, double click on a CSV file if CSV files are associated with opening in LibreOffice by default. Or right-click on the CSV file and open with LibreOffice. Actual Results: 'Text Import' window appears. It has no taskbar icon. Observe that moving other windows in front obscures it from your view. Expected Results: It should have a taskbar icon. Either an icon directly for the 'Text Import' window, or the empty LibreOffice window that I described in the first workaround could show every time.
