Description: Upon clicking one of the drop-down menus in any LibreOffice application, the menu will not open. Focusing the UI element and then manually scrolling the mousewheel and pressing enter works and am able to change selection and confirm selection that way. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any LibreOffice suite application, Writer for example 2. Click on any of the drop-downs, for example font face or font size 3. Observe the menu not opening, or sometimes opening for a brief moment in the centre of the screen then disappearing Actual Results: the drop-down menu does not open, or sometimes opening for a brief moment it opens in the centre of the screen before disappearing Expected Results: The drop-down menu should have opened when the mouse was clicked in correct place Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes OpenGL enabled: Yes Additional Info: Version: 7.3.1.3 / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 30(Build:3) CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.16; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+wayland) Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI: en-US 7.3.1-1 Calc: threaded
Created attachment 178976 [details] Video demonstration of reproducing the bug This is a video demonstration of reproducing the bug. You can see in the video I am using LibreOffice Writer and attempt to click the drop-downs multiple times without success. I then scroll through the options of the drop-down element using the mousewheel and it works. I select options using the enter key on the keyboard.
I should have encoded the video with a more ubiquitous codec to ensure people can play it. I used libx265, VLC should play it fine - along with anything else using a ffmpeg backend for decoding.
