With the same document i can work on Windows10 without any problem!

The document is a sheet with names, mail adresses and some additional fields.
Only 40 rows of data

The problem occures on 80% of tryes! Had to install OpenOffice again that i can handle that document.

Steps to Reproduce:

3. save the document

It crashed 80-90%, so unfortunately i had to work on the documents with an other application.

Can you provided a sample file for testing? If it contains personal data, please anonymize the data before submitting it.

The CALC document with anonymized data

With this document LO crashes often on MacOs.
Comment 4 Rainer Primosch 2022-09-15 15:23:34 UTC
I have attached the document and have anonymized the data.
Comment 5 Rafael Lima 2022-09-15 19:57:44 UTC
The file is working fine in Linux (kf5) using:

Version: 7.4.1.2 / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 40(Build:2)
CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: pt-BR (pt_BR.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Ubuntu package version: 1:7.4.1~rc2-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo1
Calc: threaded

Since you said the file also works in Windows 10, then it seems to be a MacOS-related issue.

Let's wait to see if anyone else using Mac can test it.
Comment 6 Rainer Primosch 2022-09-16 07:46:37 UTC
Yesthe file is working also without Problems on Windows with the actual version of LibreOffice.
I am shure that it is a Mac related issue.

I actually also had lots of random crashes in Calc too

Using LO 7.5 it is stable for me though

If that doesn't work, Have you tried upgrading and resetting profile?
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Resolving_corruption_in_the_user_profile

I was at one point using the App Store version as well, but stopped doing that likely because of this issue (it lags the community edition)

Version: 7.5.1.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: fcbaee479e84c6cd81291587d2ee68cba099e129
CPU threads: 10; OS: Mac OS X 13.2.1; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I'm using LO7512 and still get regular crashes when editing text in a Calc sheet, and often attempting to save, or switching focus.

See my comment 3 in bug 153285. I think that these two are probably the same thing.
