Description Phil Moore 2022-10-04 13:30:14 UTC
Description:
Windows 10; Intel x64; LO 7.4.1.2

Steps to Reproduce:
Steps to reproduce:
0) In Windows, go to Settings app
1) Select "Personalisation" then "Colours" menu item
2) Set 'Choose your colour' drop-down to "Dark"
3) Start Libreoffice, say Calc or Writer
4) Select 'File' drop-down menu
5) What I see: the menu has a light background & dark text
6) Sleep my machine (close laptop lid) for 1 minute
7) Wake my machine
8) Hit space to dismiss the windows lock screen
9) From LO, select (for example) 'File' drop-down menu

Actual Results:
the "File" menu has a dark background & dark text, making it very hard to read

Expected Results:
the "file" menu has a light background & dark text, as it did in step (5)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
Further observations:
a) Restarting LO resets the menus back to light background
b) Switching Windows from 'Choose your colour': "Dark" to "Light" makes menus go back to having light backgrounds again, even if you don't restart LO.

This seems to be something to do with how themes are applied hierarchically from Windows, and potentially how they get reapplied on awaking from sleep. Perhaps there is a setting in LO that can work round this, but I've not found it yet.
