Description rferraro 2022-12-10 16:31:16 UTC
Description:
Sometimes a user may have two similar styles with different names and may want to delete one of them. If it is in use, the current policy is to revert to the parent style. It would be nice if the user could instead replace the entries using that style with a style of choice. This way one does not have to go through the document to reformat.

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
See above

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I am not meaning to spam you with all these enhancements. It is just that my schedule now allows me to post these minor tweaks after 2.5 years working on one massive document - 1600 pages and 640,000 words - so far! Writer has handled this job PERFECTLY. MUCH MUCH better, easier and more powerful than MS Word.

Instead, tdf#78582 should be implemented. That is much more functional, and this special case would also be covered.

WF IMO.

There is an extension Alt Search and Replace that can be used for character styles.
