hi, I sort of remember that this used to work, so maybe I'm overlooking something... ............ anyway, you have a text with a section, which is a linked document now you want to open that document... there should be an easy way to do that.. like a menu item in the context menu: "open linked document"
it works perfectly in a master document (this is what I remembered) in the navigator's context menu: "edit link" -- perfect! :) but it doesn't work in a normal document... so I change this report to a bug report, normal severity
okay, I wrote something wrong: in the previous comment I wrote that it exists in a master document window, in the navigator (which is true), and it's "edit link".. <<-- this is what's wrong it is "edit", not "edit link" -- that's it... .......... however, this means that we have two problems: in a normal writer window, in the navigator, the "edit" option in context menu exists, yes... however, it does the same as the "edit link" does in a master document window's navigator... that is, in the normal document window, in the normal navigator, the "edit" option should be called "edit link"... and a new option should be placed there, "edit", which would open the linked document for editing
Peter, could you please add a shor sample document as this would make it easier to verify the bug. Thank you => NEEDINFO
