Description rlacroix 2023-05-20 14:06:13 UTC
Description:
Some users asked me frequently how to enable the ability to switch presenter mode on and off on a single screen. (there is as far as I have seen so far no way except through https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/is-there-a-way-to-use-the-presenter-console-with-a-single-monitor/57504)

Steps to Reproduce:
1.start presenting on a single display (F5)

Actual Results:
Impossible to switch to presenter mode (without editing the boolean value in the advanced expert options)

Expected Results:
Have a way to switch this (an example of this could be a toggle when right-clicking)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Esc key doesn't work for this? Or I just don't understand what do you need?

My explanation were probably unclear, when hitting F5 or clicking on the “start” button, one can start presenting their slides. Either they have one display (in that case the slides take up the whole screen) or they have several and in this case there is a mode called “presenter console” which includes notes, the next slide etc.

Having access to this mode on a single display is currently only possible by editing a boolean value in the advanced configs

Thanks for the report, rlacroix.
Have you tested LibreOffice 7.5? It should have what you need.
