Please view “Screensharing with WebRTC” at: http://hancke.name/webrtc/screenshare/#/ Slides state that WebRTC enables capturing: 1. Desktops; 2. Windows; and 3. Chrome Tabs (since Mozilla Firefox 33 thanks to Cisco in particular Matt Miller). An enhancement to LO Impress would be to enable a presentation to be shown in a webbrowser tab. This enhancement could benefit people with single monitors as: 1. a presentation could be shown in a webbrowser tab and shared over the internet; and 2. notes could be shown on the single monitor. This enhancement could benefit people with multiple monitors as: 1. a presentation could be shown in a webbrowser tab and shared over the internet; 2. a presentation could also be shown on an external monitor; and 3. notes could be shown on another monitor. Thank you
Would LibreOffice Online be enough for you: https://libreoffice-from-collabora.com/libreoffice-online-questions-answered/
Thank you Beluga for your question. I believe that LibreOffice Online (LOOL) would *not* be enough. This feature could also benefit governments, nonprofits and community groups. Scenario 1: Audience both in the room and on the internet --------------------------------------------------------- Having an Impress presentation work in the Offline version would be beneficial as a presentation could be shown in to a room full of people at the same time as being streamed on the internet. If the internet for some reason goes down, the presentation could continue with the audience in the room as it is not hosted online. Scenario 2: Single monitor setup with Internet only audience ------------------------------------------------------------ Currently showing a presentation means sharing your screen or window. If you only have a single monitor, there is no way to: 1. show a presentation that the audience sees; and 2. have another place where the notes, time, next slide show that only the presenter sees. By having the presentation showing in a webbrowser tab it would enable the presentation and the notes to be seen at the same time. Thank you
The title of this enhancement has been changed as the main reason for this enhancement is to enable single monitor configurations to show 2 windows (notes and presentation) for an Impress presentation held over the internet. * no web browser dependencies * VoIP (eg Skype, Firefox Hello, Google Hangouts, Talky.io, etc) program can share the presentation window * console (notes etc) window can be above the presentation window Thank you
Valid enhancement request -> set to NEW. Best regards. JBF

I tried to test this but had some issues with MS Teams, it is flickering, especially with PowerPoint 2016 so I wasn't able to confirm that PP uses Presenter View in Teams. But web says that it works with PP Live. As for Impress, seems to me that other users view edit mode Impress window and not presentation. Should be tested with other sharing software.

I tested sharing presentation in video conf. Had some issues with MS Teams app v1.5, it is flickering, maybe regression (general advice to disable GPU hw acc didn't help). Due to flickering I wasn't able to confirm that PP uses Presenter View in Teams. But it works with PowerPoint Live, for which you need a login. I couldn't open web Teams. Same problem as with PP is with Impress. Zooms sharing seems to work. it can show all 3 windows from Impress. Note that is what John also wrote in bug 33495, that Impress works with Zoom, except that problem of full screen. I also tried Meet Jitsi from meet.jit.si, it can share windows, it works well. It can show all 3 windows from Impress: edit mode, presentation mode and presenter console. If one has a single monitor, to run presenter console must set "StartAlways" to True in LO Options - Advanced options. That basically solves the problem of a single monitor, except it cumbersome to turn it on. That's in bug 62179 and bug 135089. I don't know if this request for Impress presentation in a browser tab is really needed. So far I'll set to Low.
