Created attachment 188496 [details] Sample slide (PPTX) How to reproduce: - Open sample document. - Note how it looks. - Invoke presentation mode. - Observe that an image (of a bottle) appears in the lower right quadrant. PowerPoint (online) does not show that image, neither in edit mode nor in presentation mode. The stray image is behind this. In PP the image placholder is shown in presentation mode, but not in Impress, so the image behind it becomes visible. This is similar to the example file in bug 140912 - although there the image placeholder IS displayed in presentation mode of Impress.
Probably a duplicate of bug 156400.
Probably a duplicate of bug 140912.
(In reply to Samuel Mehrbrodt (allotropia) from comment #4) > Probably a duplicate of bug 140912. It looks like this still happens even with bug #140912 fixed: Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 73bd04a71e741788a2f2f3b26cc46ddb6a361372 CPU threads: 12; OS: Linux 6.6; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

Testing with linux-64-releases, I had to skip a few versions (because of libpng12.so.0) and it could have started at any stage between: build [17cbb2ce32a1c75418e0cc10a2a146576a1eb7ee] libreoffice-3.5.6rc2 and build [f8782458d3ba33ae31943025d61461580a26303b] libreoffice-3.6.5.2 ...if anyone is able to bibisect that with 43all.

Previous versions also needed skipping. First version affected is libreoffice-3.5.0rc3 for that repo. [1]: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bibisect/Linux#Setting_up_Environment
It appears this was fixed by the fixes in bug #159258, see comment #5 there and comment #8 and comment #9. Balázs, do you want to close it?
