Description Adrián L. 2023-09-15 14:00:23 UTC
Description:
Using Autoformat funtion in a table added to a document will perform every modification regardless if formatting options are unchecked.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a document and insert a 3x3 table
2.Take the whole table and apply Autoformat on it
3.Pick whatever template you want to and disable all the five 'formatting options'

Actual Results:
The table will get Autoformatted even with all the formatting options off

Expected Results:
The table should change according to the formatting optiones selected.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
This bug is also present in previous versions of Libreoffice.
Autoformat funtion in Libreoffice Calc works fine.
If it matters, Autoformat in Openoffice 4.1.14 also works as intended.

Thanks Adrián!

Reproduced with:

Version: 7.6.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 56f7684011345957bbf33a7ee678afaf4d2ba333
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

And a recent master build:

Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: e9a0c97de95688b2f86bbb4dd8c823af5442401c
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Once removed, the modified style does work when applied to a new table.

This is a regression that started in libreoffice-5.3.0.0.alpha1 (checked with linux-64-releases bibisect repo).

... and already tracked and bibisected in bug 113208, I just realise. Marking as duplicate.
