Description eddie8+DF 2024-04-07 11:31:46 UTC
In Version 7.6.x everything works fine, Version 24.2.2 and 24.2.1 just stop after selecting the filter and the file name. The former upcoming dialogues, where you can setup how the website should be created (with/without frames etc.) does not appear.

Please attach a sample file, reduce the size as much as possible without private information, and paste the information in Menu/Help/About LibreOffice, there is a copy icon.

I'm not sure what's expected: The usual dialog from the filter does not appear, I cannot screenshot something which does not appear.. :)

The export Wizzard with "designs" was dropped at 24.2.0, as for bug 105303

Export to single document HTML filters remain.

Use the File -> Save-as
and look for the 'HTML Document (Writer)(*.html)' filter.

It's not a bug, it's feature, I see... :)
Seriously, thanks for the info, haven't realized. But then there is a feature completely missing: Export all slides at once to a graphics file format. I often have to use this with >200 slides and need them as jpg (or any other graphics format).

Writer's Web page wizard was stripped out at 5.4 for bug 99967, its been gone for some time. Guess you meant Impress, or possibly Draw.

The Draw/Impress export wizard fully removed at 24.2.0 as noted.

Export to PDF will provide paged representation of document, suited for presentation.

However, if you need Draw/Impress pages or slides with high fidelity, make page/slide selections and with the Export... dialog, pick the "SVG - Scalable Vector Graphic (*.svg)" filter. That will produce a W3C SMIL 2.0 compliant presentation with SVG graphics.

See bug 117708 for how that would be more clearly worked into UI, if ever. And work is needed on the filter(s) to bring them to more current SMIL 2.1 level.

Yes, it's about Impress. I thought I put this correct unter "Components".

SVG graphics does not work for me, it must be a pixel-graphics file format. As war as I can see some other people wrote in the referred (and other forums) pretty much the same: A feature was present, where you could export all slides as JPG graphics at once. Now, this feature is missing.

I totally agree, that probably nobody would export a real website with Impress, so the function "HTML export" itself is really obsolete, but it would help me (and as my impression is, a lot more people than just me) if there would be an option in the JPG export filter to not just export *the selected* slide, but rather exporting *all slides at once*. Also an Option with selection the output resolution or the DPI to something like 100/300/600/900/1200.

If you just need the images from a Impress presentation, check out the "Export As Images" extension [1], it should suffice.
