Steps: 1. Open Writer document with several Headings and Body Text in between 2. Open Navigator 3. Activate "Content Navigation View" so several headings can be selected 4. Select multiple headings in Navigator (Ctrl + click) 5. Right-click > Select 6. File > Export as > PDF > Range > Selection > Export Result: Successive headings are tacked on the previous section, messing up the structure and formatting. Expected: paragraph breaks between sections are kept, just like when copying such a multiselection (when using Ctrl + C with such a selection - the change to correct selection is visible -, or when using the Copy option in the Navigator's context menu - the selection is correct straight away). Jim, I thought you might be interested? But maybe this is more of a Print > Selection / PDF > Selection issue, rather than a Navigator issue...
I confirm the misbehavior. I think this is a pdf issue because the same thing happens when setting the cursor to 'Adding selection' mode from the status bar selection control and selecting multiple parts of a document and then doing the export as pdf by range selection. Aside: Oddly Menu > Edit > Selection Mode shows 'Standard' when set to 'Adding selection' in the status bar selection control.
