Not reproduced either with:

Tried various zoom levels.

Sounds similar to bug 161435.

I'm able to reproduce it with a zoom-level below 65% on a HiDPI screen (without desktop scaling)

Right, I can now see it too at very low zoom levels, and therefore it is easier to run into the issue if I scale up my display (tried 1.75×).

Daniele, do you use a HiDPI display?
Comment 8 Stéphane Guillou (stragu) 2024-07-16 07:17:45 UTC
Hm I see in the video that the zoom level was at 214%.
Maybe Daniele can test some more to see if it is indeed zoom-dependent.
Comment 9 Daniele 2024-07-16 18:39:14 UTC
Hi the screen I am using here at the moment broke during the night. But I am told by the owner that it was HDMI (I hope that this is what you wanted to know)
I am using a TV now LG TV SSCR2, which I am told is HDMI too.
But from what you write, I guess that you are talking about the zoom of LO. So I just tested up to more than 200% and to 80%. No changes, the last line is partly visible. Please write back if I missed something in your explanations.

The HDMI is the connection and shouldn't be relevant, but your screen seems to be 4K with max resolution of 3840 × 2160 so you probably use a scaling factor, which might be linked to the issue.

Let' see if other HiDPI display users can confirm as well.

I not that when I saw the issue, the amount that was hidden depended on how many lines I had in the comment (in a cyclical way). So if someone else tests, make sure you insert quite a few lines of text.
