I'm new and I don't believe this is a duplicate issue. I'm using LibreOffice 24.2.3.2 for Apple Silicon (M2).

When I click the cursor on the left side of the article headline's text and press backspace, I am not able to remove preceding white space towards the beginning of the PDF. I am typing Command-P to save online articles in strictly PDF format.

I looked for the "Hide Whitespace" feature because I saw this mentioned a few times. I don't see it in this version of LibreOffice. Did it get moved around in the menu or replaced by something else?

Opening a PDF brings it into the Draw component.

Looks like the Page has a margin and the "Biden is seeing..." text object is at the top margin. While the text at top "Biden is seeing..." and the URL is in the Header.

Draw is a bit tough to layout, you might do better to import the PDF into a Writer session. Open with the filter 'PDF - Portable Document Format (Writer)' instead of just opening the file which uses the 'PDF - Portable Document Format (Draw)' filter by default.

Either way look to adjusting the page margins for the filter imported PDF and see if that is sufficient. Also, once imported you probably will want to clear the header and footer areas (they repeat across all pages) and just copy paste the content to the text area at the top.
