Description: The Recent Files Menu in Calc is not working correctly. It works properly on the other apps, the problem seems to happen only on Calc. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open any file in Calc. 2.Click on the arrow besides the 'Open' button. 3.It only shows some files. Actual Results: It only shows the same 4 "recent files". Expected Results: It should show all the recent documents it supposed to show. Like it used to do, or like the other apps do. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: [Information automatically included from LibreOffice] Locale: en-GB Module: StartModule [Information guessed from browser] OS: Windows (All) OS is 64bit: no

Please test in safe mode, Menu/Help/Restart in Safe Mode

(In reply to scafutto20 from comment #0) > Actual Results: > It only shows the same 4 "recent files". I'd like to ask you to perform a small test. 1. Close all documents and all LO windows. 2. Create some minimal new ODS file in Calc (the content does not matter, at all) and save it with a _new_ name. 2. Close the file (but not LO/Calc). You should now see the Start Center only, as all other LO windows were/are closed. 3. Open Calc again; a new empty unsaved "Untitled 1" spreadsheet should be seen on screen. 4. In Calc, go to menu File > Recent Documents. In the list of recent documents, do you see the newly-created file name that you saved in step 2?

While in Calc I can only see Calc files in Recent Docs, when I'm in Words I can only see Words Docs in Recent Files. It wasn't like this before - I could see Recent Files for all modules. Is there a way to revert back?
Please carefully read <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/7.6#GUI>. The advance expert setting "ShowCurrentModuleOnly" should allow to configure whether the list is limited to the current module only, or to all modules. For further questions (and also for any future question), please always search and eventually post your question at <https://ask.libreoffice.org>, leaving this site for actual bug reports.
*** Bug 163214 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
In the future LO 25.2, the "Recent Documents" list adds a new checkbox, "Current Module Only". The effect should be equivalent to the expert setting "ShowCurrentModuleOnly" mentioned before. <https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/25.2#User_Interface>
