Description: I have a cell with text in Calc (ODT file). In one of the words, I put a link to a website. But after saving as XLSX, the link is applied to the whole cell instead. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the ODT test file ('testFile-linkIssue.ods') 2. You can see that the cell has some text, and one of the words has a hyperlink. 3. Save as XLSX Actual Results: The hyperlink is applied to the whole cell (see the XLSX test file, 'testFile-linkIssue.xlsx') Expected Results: The hyperlink should stay in the word as shown in the ODT file. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 24.8.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 480(Build:3) CPU threads: 24; OS: Linux 6.8; UI render: default; VCL: qt5 (cairo+xcb) Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Ubuntu package version: 4:24.8.0~rc3-0ubuntu0.22.04.1~lo2 Calc: threaded
Created attachment 196201 [details] original ODT - hyperlink is attached to one word only
Created attachment 196202 [details] saved as XLSX - hyperlink is applied to the whole cell
I can reproduce it in Version: 24.2.0.0.alpha1+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 898d5d470e24a55556f2fb244fec24df33ba8855 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded and Version: 25.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 9844a7347608a6bbc85e680a2e222aa106c01db7 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded I don't have older versions to test it at the moment
Are we sure it is supported by Excel? Opening the ODS sample file with Excel doesn't show the hyperlink.
