Keeping in mind that when executing the command, LibreOffice gives us two options: either insert a special note in the footer, or insert a special note at the end of the page, I suggest: Insertar nota especial al pie o al final Or, Insertar nota especial al pie/final However, it is preferable to also wait for Adolfo to express his opinion because there are several ways to express this in Spanish.

I correct a little what I expressed in Comment 4: By running the command, LibreOffice Writer gives us two options: Insert a special footnote or insert a special endnote.
If I'm correct: Footnotes are placed at the bottom of the page, while endnotes are placed on a page at the end of the document. That would be the difference between the two
Follow-up note This bug is still being reproduced in the Spanish LO 24.8.X branch. We still do not see a solution for this in this new branch.
