Created attachment 142569 [details] First line of a list of endnotes showing the corruption I have a problem with the layout of endnotes when converting to Word. I am able to work around it most of the time, but when publishing to Smashwords they require the use of Word 1997-2003. When converting to this format, the first endnote is corrupted with an indent inserted and the endnote pushed onto a separate line (this worsens with each save), and, importantly, the page settings for all the endnotes are changed back to the default. This means that the page sizes are different for the endnotes when compared to the rest of the document, which is not acceptable.
Created attachment 142571 [details] Print Screen showing problem I have just reported a bug, and then downloaded LibreOffice 6.1 test version to see if it could resolve the problem. In fact it partly does so, in that it is able to stop corrupting the first endnote as previously reported for Word 1997-2003. However, as can be seen, the page size for the endnotes is still being reset upon saving. I can alter the page size but once I close down and reopen the document then the endnotes have a different page size to the rest of the document.
So, people following this bug - how about we create a new, "clean" META bug for tracking footnote issues, that doesn't have comments and attachments about a specific issue?
(In reply to Eyal Rozenberg from comment #3) > So, people following this bug - how about we create a new, "clean" META bug > for tracking footnote issues, that doesn't have comments and attachments > about a specific issue? No need for a new meta bug. I've hidden the attachments and the asking comments. Another bug would be hijacked by questions as fast as the existing one.
