Description: 1) there are no way to add easly a heading for endnotes (there is a dirty workaraound) 2) it's impossible to add page after EndNotes 3) There are many issue on endnote from long time ago So could be a valid solution to re-implement endnote like a Toc? Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add 50-60 end notes in A5 (enough to fill at least 2 pages) 2.try to add an heading 3.try to add a page breack after endnotes Actual Results: EndNots seems to be an object detached from the rest of book (yes, i'm writing a book 370 pages). I can't decide where add endnotes list I con't organize my tocs (list of figure, list of tables, detailed index, endnotes, biography, etc). Expected Results: Easy solution is to handle endnote like the list of figure Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info:

It's not really clear to me what's your idea with "handle endnote like the list of figure" cc: Design-Team for further input

There are likely more requests about this, and I would make it duplicate(s) to draw attention on it.
Yes I know there are many bug about endnotes, I just would comunicate a suggesion to solve in different way the topic. My hint is to create a new insertable index, like TOC or list of figure or liste of Tables. So every one could choice where add the endnotes list. P.S. I use EndNotes with a special VB function that add an endnote for each external hyperlink.
(In reply to Do from comment #3) > My hint is to create a new insertable index, like TOC or list of figure or > liste of Tables. So more general: "Give possibility to define a place in the document for endnotes." Correct?
place and title
(In reply to Do from comment #5) > place and title Title is covered by bug 89736. So I changed bug summary to make suggestion more clear. For me it sounds like a valid enhancement. So now I won't close it as duplicate, although there is a relation to other bugs.
Ok. I read about a workaraound related to use a section, but: 1) I'm not sure a section works correctly with any amount of pages 2) Also for section we found the problem to define where add the endnotes Thank you
