The current Endnotes setup is too inflexible. Endnotes are automatically inserted on a page at the END of the document. The alternative is to create a section and have the endnotes appear at the end of that. But that too has limitations.

In books, amongst other things, ENDNOTES never appear right at the end of a document. They are invariably followed by pages containing the bibliography, alphabetical index, glossary, appendices etc.

SUGGESTION: Allow the user to append pages AFTER the endnotes, in whatever style s/he wants, so that s/he can continue adding whatever text is necessary.

P.S. See also Bug 133791.
